The SPPC01,02,03 brooches titled process brooches, took shape from the search to make an artistic statement, according to which the creative process is imperfect, discontinuous and should not be hidden. Just as imperfect and never identical are handmade ornaments.
A stance against the 'social' demands that requires us to be impeccable, always ready to please and capable of producing like machines.
In contrast, I strive to present the reality and truth of imperfections that distinguish us.
Brooch 04 was born from an exhibition call with the theme 'Christmas memories'. The memories of my Christmas are the little festive lights that were the backdrop to all the beautiful moments spent with my family in my grandparents' house in Italy. Hence the effect of the overlapping blurred lights.
Works 05,06,07 were born from the concept of doodling.
The single earring 08 is an interlocking design experiment.
